Welcome to the SO2HO Blog

During the COVID pandemic and lockdown, ELOC put together a weekly online rehearsal for our members.  The goal of the rehearsals was to keep people in contact with each other, but also aim to put on a show of some sort once restrictions were lifted and performing in front of an audience was allowed.

After a few months the society decided that the concert everyone was working towards should have a focus.  Given the news about a serious illness from one of their junior members, the decision was made to raise funds for the charities of Sophie's choice.  The production then became 'ELOC's Sing Out to Help Out.'

St George’s HospitalIn this blog Sophie and Paul Featherstone will be sharing the progress of the production, as well as giving you insight to the journey Sophie has been on and the reasons why she has chosen the Teenage Cancer Trust and St George's Hospital as the charities we will be raising funds for.
